This Privacy Policy describes how the MATA Convention 2026 mobile application ("App") handles information when you use it. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The App does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information. We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal details to use the App.
If you use the voice input feature, the App requests access to your device's microphone. Audio is recorded locally on your device, sent to our server solely to convert your speech to text, and is not stored after transcription is complete. We do not retain any audio recordings.
The App includes an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude. Messages you send to the chatbot are transmitted to our server and then to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Conversation messages are not stored on our servers beyond the duration of your session. Please review Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle API data.
The App does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not track your usage or behavior within the App.
The App may contain links to external websites such as the MATA convention website or hotel booking pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
The App is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13.
